Fat drops of rain started slowly falling and Arianna got her answer, it obviously was going to rain soon. She never watched the weather, but the lack of nature's songs was enough to tell her it would soon be a full out storm. "I think there is a good chance of it." she said glancing at the sky. She looked back at Tyler. She gave him a small disbelieving look. "Stop trying to be tough. Wounds worsen you know. Especially if they are infected. And rib wounds are some of the worse." Her hair was slowly becoming soaked and she was happy she hadn't worn makeup. Not like she ever did, but still.
He was very obviously in a lot of pain and held a lot of mistrust in his eyes, but it wasn't like he could get anywhere by himself at the moment. She sighed as a bolt of lightning flashed across the sky and thought f what to do as she became soaked to the skin and felt frozen. She gracefully stood in one bound before leaning down and holding her arm out to Tyler. "Infection is bad enough. Sick from cold too? Not good. Come on now" She was sure she had seen a marble tome somewhere that had seemed empty enough, though the coffins wouldn't bother her. But standing under a tree in a thunder storm was pure stupidity.

When the lightning flashed, all of the color drained from his face. He stood up and looked at her. "I'm fine. I swear." He said. He didn't want help, he wasn't use to the help at all, and to him, it just didn't seem right. The boy was terrified of thunder and lightning. He didn't let go of his side. He pulled his parka on with one arm and started at her. "I-I don't like thunder..." He said, starting to shake a bit. Another light flashed across the sky, and he jumped and almost instantly looked at her before starting to take off running. He knew this place like the back of his hand, and he hadn't even lived there that long.
Not letting go of his side, he looked back for a quick second before yelling, "COME ON!" He took a sharp turn, his feet slid a bit on the wet grass, causing him to fall, but he scrambled back up and took off to the tomb. It was dry, and the bodies in the tomb were long gone. They has been taken out long before and now all that was in tomb was trash. He stood at the enterance of the tombs and looked back, watching for her.

Arianna shrugged and pulled away. He wasn't fine, but whatever he wanted. She raised an eyebrow as he sprinted off, but followed close behind. She paid careful attention to where she was putting her feet though, she knew if she wasn't she'd end up flat on her butt. She reached the mouth of the tome and watched him carefully. In her opinion, he was truely courting danger. She wanted to forget about it, but couldn't.
Reaching around him, she pushed on the door of the tome. It was stuck fast and would open. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Unless you have another way in, these place is at least dry." She yanked her pony tail out of her hair and let it fall to her waist in its now soaked curls since the pony tail did absolutly nothing once it was this wet. She pushed it behind her shoulder and crossed her arms.
Looking at him, she raised her eyebrow again. "Are you going to let me help you, or continue to be stubborn?" she asked.

Tyler looked at her. He took his hand away from his ribs and pushed hard against the door. The door fell off its rusty hinges and he took a step inside. He winced and hunched over, in pain. "I don't know.." He said after a moment. "Oww.' He groaned. He moved over to the wall and slid down. He looked at her and pulled off his parka, then his shirt. He looked at the white bandage around his ribs. Were his hand was was bright red, soaked with blood.
He looked up at her then winced. He was in a lot of pain. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small bottle of pain killers. He popped the top off with his thump and took a few with out any hesitation. He replaced the top back on the bottle and stuffed it into his pocket. He rested his head on the stone wall. The stone was damp and very cold, but he didn't care. "Ahhhh" He winced again. "You can look if you want I guess.." He said after a moment, pain rapped in his words.

Arianna was suprised when he pushed the door off its hinges, but said nothing as lighting flashed again. So far there wasn't any thunder, just light so it meant the lighting was flashing far off. She let her mind wonder for a minute whether that was a good sign or bad one.
She gave a small gasp when she saw the amount of blood coming out of the wound. "You idiot." Was all she said as she knelt down next to him. She had a hard time seeing, so she pulled out her cell phone and turned on the light. It was an old, old blackberry and nearly as big as her whole hand, but she really loved it. It was also handy at the moment because it gave off quite a bit of light.
Shaking her head, she moved Tyler's hand and didn't even say anything about the pain killers which she usually didn't like. They were fake, chemical things that never really helped. Then again, she probably would have taken some if she had this kind of wound too.
"You let this go waaay to far, and strained yourself too much." She said dissaprovingly. She sat back on her butt and scooting away a few inches before quickly pulling off her black turtle neck sweater. She wore a black spaghetti strap under it and pulled that off too. She wore a black sports bra under it, so it didn't bother her. She was always practicing in her sports bra and it wasn't like she had any fat to speak of to be shy of. In fact, she barely had any. A dancer always needed a strong body and she was covered in muscle almost everywhere.
However, it was cold, so she pulled her sweater back on and came closer to Tyler once more, sitting in a jazz box. She picked up her shirt and placed it on her lap before unwrapping the bandage around his ribs. It was the best she had to clean it up with and blood would wash out easily in the black. "Don't freak out on me." she warned. She knew it would hurt.

Ty faked a smile, "I get that a lot more then you think." He said. He let her move his hand, and didn't fight with her. Anyone else he would have bulked up and dealt with the siring pain in his ribs, but her no, she would have found out anyway. For someone that shouldn't trust me, she does seem to want to help me.... but why? He asked himself. Of course he didn't know the answer to that question.
He watched her, his eyes going wide as she stripping her tops into just her bra. He shook his head and watched her put her sweater on. Ty himself was only in a pair of jeans and his parka around his shoulders. He looked down at his ribs as she started to move her hand close to him. He automatically moved away from her, thinking that she was going to hit him. That was what his mother usually did. She only made his pain worse.
He moved back after a moment to her touch and let her remove the bandage around his ribs. He knew that he over did it, and that it was probably infected but he didn't care at the moment. He took off the bandage himself, after her touching him just hurt him to much. He put the bandage on the dirt ground. It wasn't like he was going to use it again. He looked down at his ribs. The wound was deepish and purple and a bit of yellow around the edges. No doubt that it was getting infected. He started to chew on his snake bites again, not really sure what to do now. He looked back down at the disgusting wound. "Why... are you helping me?" He asked quietly.

Arianna to herself as his eyes went wide. For someone who acted so touch and blase, he sure did seem surprised alot. She shook her head and focused on the problem at hand.
He flinched and Arianna immediatly moved back. Her eyebrows came down in confusion until shee realized he must be used to getting hit, not helped. The furrow in her brow deepened with concern. She wondered why she was so worried. Usually, she just let people do as they wished. Then again, the fact that she hated seeing people hurt and it seemed like all he wanted to be was hurt didn't help.
She let him take off the bandage, realizing her touch must hurt. She also knew her fingers must have been ice cold. Her hands were always freezing even in the middle of summer. Something like no body heat retention or whatever. As she considered his next words, she bent down further to examine the cut better. Yup, infected. Great. This was going to require more than just a tank top. Quickly, she mopped up the blood as gently as she could. Then she replied. "You are hurt." she said simply, with no further explaination. "We need to get to some medical supplies." she said, leaning back again and thinking. She could probably fix him up enough that he wouldn't have to go to the hospital, but it would require some time.

As she pressed her tank top to his wound he winced and looked at her. It hurt a lot. He pressed his back into the wall. He wasn't trying to get away from her, it was more that he wanted the pain to stop. He looked down at the wound. It was worse then that morning. He sighed and put his hand back on the wound. It hurt to breath. He didn't know what to do, he was in so much pain.
Ty has cracked his head open, but that was nothing like this. This was just siring pain. Looking at the wound, then at her, he wondered what exactly she was thinking. "Medical supplies? "He asked. He heard the thunder off in the distance and he jumped, causing more blood to ooze from the wound. "S-Sorry. I hate thunder storms." He said. "Not scratch that. terrified." He added after a moment. "That's why when I saw lightning and jumped and bolted." He explained.

Arianna winced when T.J. did. Again with the hating seeing people in pain. It was like part of her was hurting as well. She held her tank top there for a mintue with one hand hoping it would stanch the flow at least for a while. With the other, she starting running her hand through her hair like she always did when she thought. Her hand touched her scalp and yup, they were freezing like always.
She looked at him and answered, "Yeah. Its infected. We need some sort of alcohol and then a clean bandage." She thought of where they could get some. She knew she had some in her dorm, but at the moment it was storming and she didn't know another place closer. She ran her hand through her hair again and again, thinking.
His next words surprised her. "Terrified?" She looked at him, puzzled for a moment. She loved storms, especially at night. "They are so gorgeous though. The way lightning lights the entire sky up and the rain reflects off of it all and then the thunder sounds like some big drum." She smiled as she closed her eyes and listened to the storm outside for a moment. She loved everything about a storm. The sound of rain hitting the ground. The way it fuzzed everything and made you seem like you were all aone in the world. Even the smell was amazing. Then she remembered he was terrified. She looked at him with more concern. "That's okay though. I understand fear." She said with a faraway look. She had always thought she didn't really have a fear for the longest time. Then her family had dissapeared and she realized what it was: getting close to someone and letting them in. That's probably what explained the whole never-had-a-boyfriend-or-ever-really-kissed-a-guy thing. She didn't really understand why, but she had always had trouble letting people get close to her and had only ever had one best friend in her life so far.

He just nodded. He knew that it has gotten infected a while a go, but it was probably a lot worse then before. He looked up at her. "Yeah. It looked bad this morning, but I had to leave my dorm and just haven't returned yet." He said. He blinked at her. "I probably should.... I mean I have everything that I would ever need there." He added. He moved a bit, but winced in pain. He looked at her, his pale icy blue eyes staring and screaming pain in them.
"Yeah. I'm terrified of them." He said. "When I was four, my parents went out and left me with my grandmother. She was deaf, and I was letting the dog out, but I was small and the dog was huge to me and he pushed me out with him, and my grandmother locked the door. And a very bad thunderstorm hit that night. I was under the flooding porch that night." He explained. He moved to stand up, but a loud crash came from outside and his jumped, scratching his bar back against the wall before hitting the ground in the same place.
He looked at her. And moved his arm to his back. There was a few scratchs on his back, but they weren't anything bad like the one in his ribs. He looked down and started to pull his parka back up over his shoulders, then followed by his knees.

Arianna looked at T.J. like he was insane. "And why didn't you do something about it earlier??" she demanded. She couldn't believe he let himself even get to this condition. Then again, she had learned to take care of wounds early on so she could still dance and she knew others who didn't bother until something seemed really wrong. But even they didn't let it get this bad. As his ice blue eyes looked into her own blue gray owns, she felt deep pity for the amount of pain he was in and worry creased her brow.
She nodded her head as he talked, and tried to pay attention to what he was saying. "I guess that makes sense, but they are so utterly amazing." she said, looking toward the open doorway for a second. Lightning flashed and lit up the inside and her face dramactically for a split second before sending them back into a world of nearly complete darkness except for her phone. She looked back at Tyler. "Have you ever just watched one and looked at the way the rain fell or listened to the sound of the rain drops hitting the ground like tiny drums?" she asked, curious if his fear had taken him forever away from storms of any type.
She jerked forward suddenly to catch him if he fell forward as he hit his back. Arianna winced as he hurt himself further. He didn't need any more blood loss. She ran her hand through her hair yet again and thought about what they could do. Her eyes clouded over for a second as she dissapeared inside her head, but she came back with nothing. "Where can we go to get you patched up? Or should we wait for this to finish?" she asked, jerking her head toward the open doorway. Wind lew through and she crossed her arms and shivered. She was still pretty wet and cold. Two things she hated, the second much, much more than the first. But together they were pure torture.

T.J looked at her. "Cause It didn't look that bad..." He said. His eyes were huge and filled with pain and fear. "No. I can't. I'm scarred for life by them." He said. He looked at her. "I don't know what we can do." He said. He moved his hand from his back to his side. The warm blood covered his hand easily. He looked at her a lot pain in his eyes. Gulping he looked at her. "I guess we could go to my dorm.." He said.
He didn't really want to get up and leave, or anything. He looked at the door, the rain. He started to get up, grabbed his white tee shirt and tie it around his ribs cage. HE looked at her. "Do you want to go to my dorm?" He asked. He pulled his parka around his shoulders, slowly putting his arms into the coat. He stood up and held out his hand for her.

Arianna looked at him disbelievingly for a moment. "THAT didn't look that bad?" She raised an eyebrow and wondered what the hell did then. She just shook her head though and turned and look out the doorway. "Then I believe you are missing a lot." she said, raising her eyes to meet his. She wondered if it was rain at all, or just thunder storms.
When he stood and stuck out his hand, Arianna looked at him reproachfully for a moment and hesitated before taking his hand and lifting herself up off the ground, refusing to put basically any pressure on it. She watched him carefully and wondered if he was really up for walking out into a thunder storm which he was terrified of in his condition. "Are you sure?" she asked.

"Well, it didn't... it wasn't infected this mourning I swear to god." He said. He looked down at her. He was six feet two inches for a sixteen and a half year old. "You don't know how many times I've been told that." He said. He was told that every time that there was a storm. He was also told to bulk up and be a grown man and stop being afraid of the storm. But of course he wasn't going to ever grow up and stop being afraid of them. Ever.
He left go of her hand when she was up and he zipped up his coat, and pulled his hood up. "Well... I don't want to... but I will." He said, making a face. Sure he didn't want to go out, but he would if he had too. And he had too. He bent over in pain as a sharp pain it threw the side of his rib cage were his rubs were bleeding a ton already. He groaned. He moved his eyes up to look at Arianna. "ahh." He groaned a bit

Arianna raised an eyebrow at the fact that her didn't know, but said nothing. With a shrug, she dismissed the words and almost instantly forgot them. She was good at doign that. Forgetting stuff. In her opinion, the past was the past and what was, well, was. At least, she was usually good at forgetting stuff. Sometimes though, it all came crashing back. That was usually when she'd go and dance till her feet bled or do something crazy and get hurt. She didn't mean to get hurt of course, but she would be doing something stupid and just not pay as much attention as usual.
She considered his next words. "Maybe it is because it's true." she pointed out. She had found that when people say the same things over and over they tended to actually mean something if you looked deep enough. But she understood that he had a fear, and she knew that he probably would never get over it. That was his business though, so yet again she let it be.
She grew even more worried as he seemed to be in even more pain. She looked at him in concern and reached an arm out to hold onto his shoulder as he bent over. "I think we have to." she said regretfully. She didn't want to make him face his fears, but she didn't want him to suffer any more either. "When you are ready." she said, not letting go of his shoulder. She didn't want him to completely collapse at once and not be able to stop himself from hurting himself.
