Hannah laughed and said "Stop it! hahaha. Stop!" She looked at him after and said "Mama doesn't play to get even. mama plays to win." She gave him a small smirk and then looked at the paper. "Tristan don't bring that up, I hate myself enough for it. Now i'm not going to fight with you. You chose to do this so put it on yourself. Not me. And could you be more sensitive. He didn't even know what happened to her. He just found out that she was dead. He will move on when he wants to ok?" She was getting a little irritated since he was piling on more guilt on her shoulders. Like she needed that. She was happy to see how her and Jeremy had become good friends. Like brother and sister even. Hannah stopped for a second and thought. He's funny, he's cute, he's amazing...." Before hannah could finish her thought the voice inside her mind came Hannah don't be thinking about that just yet. You just saw someone you dearly loved be taken away and burried into the ground. Your not ready, so don't act like you are. [/i] Hannah nodded and listened She poked Jeremy. She loved to poke people. Well right now she did anyway. Hannah sighed and looked at the piece of paper. She laid back down and stared at the ceiling once more.[/center]

Jeremy saw her write. He looked at it and said "Okay I saw my name. I am reading it." Plucking it he looked at it. He read what Tristan said to him. He was pissed now. It's been YEARS? How the hell does he know? It happened all of seven months ago. He looked at the paper. His eyes slanting. They will turn into Lovers? What the hell? Treat him like he is there? Why? So many different emotions were flowing through. Putting the paper down by Hannah he looked at her and said "Okay, Tristan is starting to tick me off. Tristan if you can hear me that you better start talking to me straight forward. You have no idea what I am going through! You have NO IDEA!" Jeremy didn't like yelling, but this was a dead person. He didn't care frankly.
Staring at the ceiling and back at Hannah poking him he just smiled and shook his head. He should move on. He knew he should. It was still so hard. He gave everything he had for her. They were together for so long. Than he yelled "Also you have no idea how hard it is to move on! You are the one who died! You aren't the one living. You can't feel pain. We can still feel so much pain. It hurts. Your heart cramps up. Your emotions are tied. You don't know what to think anymore. You can only think about one thing. Them. Them THEM! PLus treat you like you are there? You are dead! Don't you get it! Stop haunting this girl! You are like a stalker!" He was shaking in anger. He had to calm down. taking deep breaths he turned to Hannah and said "I must look mental don't I? This is just great. I am yelling at a ghost. Great. I completly lost my mind from meeting you two. God." He was shivering now. Going near the wall he hit his fist a few times and sighed.
Looking back over at Hannah he said "Look, I am sorry. Can you tell him to just respond than leave. I can't take it anymore. He is just ticking me of!" He shivered again. Walking near Hannah he patted her on the back and gave her a small hug saying "Hang on a second alright?" Running to his backpack he pulled out a small joint. He didn't smoke that much. Just when he was stressed. Lighting it up he took a long smoke than blew out. He than put it out and put it in his pocket. Walking back he looked at her and said I am back. It was just..I got stressed.." His stomach was churning. He wasn't sure what Tristan would do to him.

Tristan twitched. This boy was now getting him angry. He looked at the paper. He went threw the boy to Hannah's bag and got another paper out. This was going to be a long write...
Okay. Fine. You want me to talk to you? Well guess what! YOU CAN'T HEAR ME! I've actually said something. You can't hear me. I'm going to be nice and say this once. I'm standing right here. Cut the bullshit of "If you can hear me.' Cause I'm RIGHT HERE! See!! floating paper. Anyway. You don't know me. I've gone threw so much pain when I was a live that killing myself was t he only way to be free from everything. So shut your fucking mouth up. I'm right here. I would slap you, but you wouldn't feel it. So I'll just do this And I'm not leaving.
Tristan smiled a bit and killed the lights. "You think your so high and mighty know? WE HAHA! I'm going to win this boy!!" He screamed, though he probably wasn't heard. He wouldn't turn the lights back on until Hannah asked, or Jeremy apologized. Even if the switched the switch, it wouldn't work.

Hannah looked at the paper when Tristan was righting. She wished that he was still alive so she could at least punch him. She was becoming more angry by the second, and since she wasn't a real angry person this was a shock. Hannah watched as the lights flashed off. She felt the yelling the screaming, the anger inside of him so all at once she let it out
"GOD DAMNIT TRISTAN WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP! JEREMY DOES NOT WANT TO MOVE ON YET! DAMNIT CAN'T YOU LET HIM LIVE HIS OWN DAMN LIFE! NOW TURN THE FUCKING LIGHTS BACK ON!
Hannah was more furious then ever. she was so mad that he was pissed off about how Jeremy didn't want to move on. And she was perfectly fine with the fact that Jeremy didn't want to move on just yet. But obviously Tristan wasn't. Hannah knew that maybe a few people could hear them outside the auditorium. Even if there wasn't any school today. Hannah had never yelled like that in her entire life. She knew it was going to be a mistake but she yelled it anyway.
"TRISTAN I'M PERFECTLY FINE WITHOUT YOU! YOU LEFT ME SO I'M NOT GOING TO PRETEND I NEED YOU! YOU WENT THROUGH A LOT OF SHIT BUT HOW DO YOU THINK THIS IS EFFECTING ME! TRISTAN THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU!"
Hannah couldn't control herself. She ran backstage. Tears in her eyes and she sat in the corner with her hands over her ears. There wasn't any sound besides the echoing of her screams but she felt like there was more. Hannah was curled up in a ball in a corner. She looked like she was in the fetal postition but she was just trying to escape it all.

Jeremy was terrified. If Tristan could shut of the lights god know what he could do to him. He couldn't move. He felt frozen to the ground. His body shaking he took one step backward. Looking at the sheet of paper he stared at it. Hearing Hannah's shouts he started to tune it all out. He couldn't. It was all just so much. He took two steps backward and froze again. He looked everywhere around him. Looking to see Hannah run he said "Look what you did. Y-You made her cry! I am sorry Tristan. I am sorry you felt pain, but you aren't the only one who went through stuff. Sure it was bigger, but the pain can hurt just as much. " He clenched his fists and stared at the ground.
Looking back up he looked straight ahead and said "I will never meet you, but I can't apologize. What I said is what I feel. I can't take back how I feel. Go ahead. Shut off the lights. Terrify me. I won't apologize. You could even kill me I won't apologize. Take over my body I won't apologzie. Do anything I won't apologize." IT was the truth. Shaking still he backed up. Turnign to see where Hannah was. He took his lighter and lite it up. He than turned and started running toward Hannah.
Running next to her Jeremy wrapped his arm around her and whispered "Hannah, it is okay. he is just trying to scare me. This isn't your fault. It is mine. I shouldn't of said what I felt. I shouldn't of put myself before you. I don't know what to do anymore. It will be alright. I promise." He felt tears falling down from his eyes. He was scared. He hugged Hannah tight and rubbed her back and kept repeating "It will be okay.." When he wasn't sure it would be okay at all.

Tristan just watched her explode at him. He turned the paper over, and wrote Hannah a short letter.
Hannah,
I'm sorry. I really am. I didn't mean to get angry at him, but its just that I'm still here, and I don't want to be thought of as just something that will be forgotten or will just go away. I'm still here. I really can't say that I like him, cause he pisses me off to no extent. You don't want me around, then just tell me. You don't want me around? Fine. Then I'll see you when you die too. I love you though. Don't forget me okay?
~Tristan
PS. Tell Jeremy I'm sorry. and Your still beautiful...
Tristan snapped his fingers and the lights went on. He dropped the paper and moved. He sunk himself into to the stage and sat there. He wasn't sure weather he was able to cross over, but he didn't think he could. He probably was going to end up here until Hannah died. He sat there, listening to them. Maybe they wouldn't even bother to read it.

Hannah sat there with Jeremy. She was so sick and tired of all the bad things happening in her life. They hadn't gotten that bad until she had met Tristan, but still things weren't going to well either. Hannah had her head on Jeremy's shoulder when she saw the note drop. She stood up, grabbed it and sat back down. She started to read it ouloud Hannah,
Another tear rolled down her face. Everything had just hit her so hard that she forgot that he had feelings too. but she still thought he had no right to say that stuff to Jeremy. She turned to Jeremy and said "I'm sorry. I'm so very sorry. This is all my fault for bringing him here." She put her head down and felt a tear roll down her cheek. She watched it, almost in slow motion his her knee. And even though she tried to hide it, she still wanted Tristan there by her side. But she had Jeremy instead. Hannah started to sob again and this time she couldn't help it. She kept saying "It's all my fault. It's all my fault." Over and over again. She really thought it was though. "If I hadn't been such a whore and been flirting with another guy he would still be alive."
She wiped away some tears but those were soon replaced. She still had her head resting on her knees. Her knees pulled up to her chest. She competely drowned out the things that Jeremy was saying to try to calm her down. Nothing could take back what happened and even she knew that.

Jeremy watched as Hannah broke down. This just seemed too much for him. So many emotions. A damn ghost? How the hell did that happen? Standing up he stood against the wall and said to Hannah "I can't help you through this. I don't know what the fuck just happened. I am so confused Hannah. I don't know..I just don't know.." He hated this. He hated not knowing what was happening around him. Clutching his arm he held it tight. Looking at his backpack he was terrified it might float up and beat the crap out of him.
Leaning his head against the wall and staring at the ceiling he said "Tristan. I am sorry." Okay, he apologized. He caved. He couldn't take it. He couldn't have this guy hate him. He just killed himself for crying out loud. Looking down at the floor he could sense Tristan was below them. Walking close to Hannah he put a hand on her back than put it back by his side. Than he started to sing.
This world will never be. What I expected. And if I don't belong Who would've guessed it? I will not leave alone everything that I own To make you feel like it's not to late it's never to late even if I say it will be alright, still I hear you say you want to end your life. Now again we try to just stay alive. Baby, we will turn it around because it's not to late. It's never to late.
He looked down at her and kneeled and brushed the hair out of her face. Looking at her he said "It will be alright. This isn't your fault. He was suicidal. Don't blame yourself." He paused. Looking at the ground he said "Tristan, please tell Hannah it isn't her fault. You know it isn't. Come on man." Biting his lower lip he hoped Tristan would tell her. Lifting up her chin he looked into her eyes and said "You are a nice, beautiful girl. I know you are hurting now, but it will soon pass. You just need to cry. So let it all out, but don't blame yourself. You didn't do anything. Trust me. He needed an excuse. So he used you as an excuse, but he loves you. I know he does. He said so in the note." Looking at it he sighed.

Hannah looked up at Jeremy. She had settled down a little bit more and said "Jeremy I'm so sorry for getting you into this. I hope it will never happen again." She felt bad for making Jeremy so angry. She continued to sob. She just wished that Tristan would be the one to tell her everything was going to be ok. But that wasn't going to happen. After she yelled so much at him she doubted he would ever want to see her again. Hannah didn't know what to believe anymore as she just saw a ghost yell at her new friend, herself screaming, and worst of all Jeremy being caught in the middle of the whole situation. She felt so bad.
Hannah sighed and finished crying. She was going to be cried out for a while. She really appreciated Jeremy at least trying to help her calm down a little bit more. But what she appreciated most of all was that he was still there with her. He didn't dart off and leave her there. And that made her shed tears of happiness. hannah stood up and hugged Jeremy "Thank you." was all she could get out after everything that had happened. Including him being freaked out about a ghost that showed up and thought he knew everything about his past.
Hannah somehow passed that. She knew that Tristan was just trying to get her to move on and forget about him so that she could have a life. She tried her hardest, or at least she planned too. Hannah was all for moving on but it would be too hard at the moment for her and for Jeremy. She still didn't know what to do.

Jeremy looked at her and said "If it does happen again, Hannah, I don't think I will be able to take it. That incident already brought back so much.." He shook his head. Looking back up at her he said "Don't feel bad. It isn't really that bad. It just..scared the living shit out of me that is all. I don't know anything anymore. I wish he would pass over. Maybe he will pass over when he knows you are happy, but you just never know..Maybe he will haunt you forever..and I am not making this any better." He sighed and smiled at her.
Looking at her when she hugged him he was surprised at first, but hugged her back .Looking at her he was about to ask why she was thanking him, but he knew why. It was because he didn't leave. It was because he didn't dart off. He wouldn't do that though. He knew what it felt like when people left you at the time you needed other people the most. It hurt. A lot. He didn't like it. He never did. He sighed and rubbed her back and said "No need to thank me. Really."
Looking at her he let go after about two minutes and had a serious thouhgt about kissing her. He wouldn't though. She was still recovering. They would just have to be friends for now. Jeremy didn't know what to do. He wasn't sure, but his conscience told her to not kiss her. It would be too fast for her. Knowing his conscience was always right he listened to it. Stepping back he said "Hannah, you are very strong for getting through this. Here is my number. If you ever need anyone to talk to. I am here." He smiled at her. His conscience told him to kiss her cheek. He did. Kissing her lightly on the cheek he smiled.

Hannah continued to feel sorry. If he had to go through it again then he couldn't take it. She was so worried that if she saw him again Tristan would show up, Jeremy would leave, and Hannah would be left alone. Without any single chance of forgetting about Tristan. Hannah froze at that thought. She wouldn't be able to take that. She wouldn't be able to feel more guilt in her life. She had already had the one on her shoulders about causing Tristan to kill himself. Like she needed Jeremy telling her that every time that they are together he gets scared shitless. That would just tear her apart. Jeremy was the only one in life that would stick by her.
Hannah was so happy that he just hugged her back. She wouldn't be able to take rejection right now. Not at the moment at least. She looked up at him and smiled. But then said "What is there nothing to thank you for. You stayed here with me. You didn't scram like any other guy. And it made me feel....happy." She said it, the five letter word she had been aching to say but never got to say or feel it. Now she had both.
Right then she could tell he was thinking about something. But she wasn't exactly sure what. She knew what she was thinking of though. She was thinking that she was going to have a better life now that she had met him. Maybe she would be happier. Maybe she would be the way she used to be for once. Like the little kid inside of her would come out and give Jeremy a great big hug. She bit her lip after Jeremy kissed her on the cheek. But right now she just took it as a friendly thing.
She looked up at him then rested her head on his chest still in a hug postition. She just wanted to feel comforted. She just wanted to feel safe, and secure. But since Tristan had left out of the living world, she no longer had that. She took the number from Jeremy and said "And here's my number, If youhave anything you want to talk about i'm there." She handed him a white piece of paper with her name and number on it.

Jeremy just kept hugging her. He wanted to kiss her. He really did, but he knew she wasn't ready. He just knew it. Sighing he brushed the hair out of his face and bit on his snake bites. He was still pretty scared. He wasn't sure what would happen if Tristan got jealous and he started to go on a giant ghost spree and shit. He just wasn't sure. His legs started to shake a little bit out of nervousness and he had to stomp his foot to make it stop. He wasn't sure why he was being like this. He hadn't been this nervous around a girl since Stephanie..Fuck.
Looking at her he said "In case you haven't noticed I am not a normal guy. I just screamed at a ghost, I run around in circles, I had my girlfriend die, and I have a weird Italian accent. So, no, I am not a normal everyday guy. Hell, I don't even like football or contact sports." He smiled and hugged her tight and said "Well, I am glad your happy. I am happy at this moment, but before I was...terrified.." He was telling her the truth. Hugging her his arms were about a couple of inches above her butt, but he didn't care. He didn't even notice. He was just happy to be here with her in a friendly hug that was lasting awhile.
Right now Tristan was thinking that maybe him and Hannah would have a good life together. They would be a lot happier. Since they both experienced the same thing they would understand when one other would cry about their old high school loves. He could just picture them together. He saw her bit her lip when he kissed her cheek, but he didn't say anything about it. He chewed on his lower lip when she rested her head on his chest. She was torturing him and he didn't know what to say.
Looking down at her he rubed her back and said "Thanks." He just closed his eyes as he hugged her. This would probably have to be the longest hug in his life, but he didn't care. He was enjoying it. Smiling he felt his phone ring in his pocket. Sighing he looked at it to see that it was his dad. Holding up the one minute sign he broke away from the hug. "Jeremy! Where the hell are you? Your sister and I came to pick you up to go get a restraining order on my ex boyfriend an hour ago! You have to come!" Jeremy groaned and yelled "I don't have to come! Leave me alone mom! He is YOUR boyfriend not mine!" He than hung up the phone and threw it aside. It didn't break luckily. He walked back over to Hannah and said "I am sorry, my mom is just so retarded! I hate her so much. She hates me to, but since I have to pass on the 'Gallo' name I am just now so important." He rolled his eyes.

Hannah knew this was a very weird moment. They were the closest friends she's ever seen. This hug couldn't have lasted longer. But it was more then a hug. It was a comforting moment to know that they were both ok. "Jeremy. Listen, I don't care if your not a normal guy. Hell I don't even care that you don't like sports, it doesn't matter to me. I don't judge people on their likes and dislikes. It's not really me." She wasn't making much sense but she was proving she didn't care that he wasn't normal. "Hell to be honest, if you were just a normal guy, you would bore me to tears." She said it truthfully. She couldn't stand people that were perfect. Just made her feel uncomfortable.
"But Jeremy...." She looked up at him. "If that was to happen again, would you ever talk to me or like to see me again?" She knew she was just making this harder for him. But she wanted to know, just for future possiblities. She watched him go and answer his phone. When he got back she said "Is everything alright?" She became worried now. And whatever it was, it was sure making Jeremy pissed off.
She listend to him talk about how he was so important because he was carrying on the name. "I completely understand. That would be so annoying. I'm sorry you have to get drowned into stuff." Hannah felt that she was saying sorry almost a little too much. She needed to just be quiet for a while. She always said sorry and Jeremy too much and that definately needed to stop. Hannah looked at the ground and bit her lip again. She looked at a stran of blonde hair. She was happy that she had died her hair. It looked better on her then the yellow did. Soon her phone went off too.
Hannah looked at the phone and saw it was her dad. "Hello?" Hannah said talking into the phone. "Sweetheart are you ok? I heard what happened to your boyfriend. Do you need some things to talk about? She rolled her eyes. "No dad I'm fine. I already found someone." She turned to Jeremy and smiled. It was the truth though. She had found someone who was just like her only a guy. And she felt she could talk about anything with him. That made her happy in so many places of her. But the one place it mattered most, it wasn't there yet. "Ok well I'll talk to you later sweetie. I love you." Hannah smiled into the phone "I love you too." She hung up the phone and went back to Tristan. "Sorry about that." She looked into his eyes.

Jeremy couldn't help, but smile when she said it was alright that he wasn't normal. They were now sort of standing awkward at the moment. He didn't care though. Smiling at her he bit his lower lip and looked away for a moment. It was okay he wasn't normal? What if she was lying? What if she didn't mean anything? So many what if's were going through his head it started to give him a headache. So he said "Yeah, thanks. I will never be normal, so get used to it." He teased. He smiled at her.
Looking at her he hesitated. Could he still be her friend if Tristan kept on pestering him like that? It was a tough call. Looking at her he said "Hannah..I would still..hang out with you, but all my sanity would be gone and you would have to visit me at a mental hospital because I would still be seeing you and if Tristan kept it up than my sanity would be lost because I saw you so many times." He smiled. It was true. He couldn't stop seeing her. They have been through the exact same crap and he couldn't leave the one person who understood. Looking away he whispered "Also no. Not everything is alright. It is hard. To see you..go through exactly what I did..it just..hurt all over again."
He sighed. Looking at her he smiled and said "It does get annoying 'Carry the family name' and shit. I am tired of it. Hell, I am not even sure of my own sexuality.." Did he just say that out loud? Yeah he did. Oh great. That was jut great. Ruin a friendship right there won't ya Jeremy? Looking at her he said "You grew silent all of a sudden. I don't like silentness." He smirked.
Looking at her he saw her start to talk to her dad. He knew it was her dad because the voice was deep on the other side. He felt tears streak down his cheeks. He never had a dad like that. His dad didn't care when his girlfriend called. He just said 'Well, you fucked her didn't you? Should be good enough.' He had no idea how much it hurt him when his dad didn't care. He forced a smile and said "Don't apologize for a dad like that. My dad was never like that. He.. never mind. I don't like to complain so I won't complain. Plus, thanks for saying that..never mind again." He smiled at her and punched her lightly in the arm. Sighing he looked at her in the eyes. He wanted to kiss her so badly it was starting to hurt. He wish he had the guts to do so, and he wished that Tristan didn't die, because god it would be a lot easier to do this. He sighed and chewed on his lower lip.

Hannah continued to look into his eyes then said What's on your mind? If there's something you can tell me" She was a little concerned. Was there something that he wasn't telling her, was there something that she did wrong. She didn't really know. She smiled when he told her to get used to him being not normal. And she was perfectly fine with that. She wasn't normal so she would just be a huge hypocrite. She raised an eyebrow at his next comment. "Mental hospital? I think i'm the one who is most likely to end up there. I'm the one he is haunting anyways." She smiled at him and then looked at the ground. She wanted to get together with him. But she knew that she couldn't move on just yet. For now it was alright to be friends since they had both gone through the same trauma, and since she had him it would take less time for her to get over it.
She raised an eyebrow at the part about his sexuality. She unhooked her arms from him and just stood beside him. Unless he pulled her back, then she would continue to hug him. He seemed straighter then a wooden ruler but then again they just met no more then 3 hours ago. She was a little weirded out at that. She smiled and said "Oh i was just thinking about something that's all." She listened to him as he spoke, he never had a dad like that. "Oh god I'm sorry. I won't bring it up." She looked at the ground. She wished she hadn't pulled away from him. She wanted another hug but she didn't say so. That would just make her sound weird. Watching him chew on his lower lip she did the same. It was involuntary. A simple habit she had had since she was 7.
