WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Jessica paused for a moment and looked at him. "Your not a naturally happy person, are you?" She said with a sigh as she watched him. She couldn't understand how people couldn't be happy. Sure, sometimes it was understandable to be sad but not all the time. Never all the time. Those sort of people had issues. Jessy hated seeing people upset and always tried her best to make them happy. That or her way to natural happyness would just make them angry. But at least they weren't upset. "You should smile more." She added on, tilting her head to the side, as if studying him with great curiousity. She knew she shouldn't really be saying this. She barely knew him, but it wasn't normal (atleast to her it wasn't) to not smile. It scared her slightly.
She felt him pull his hand away slightly and she let go, biting down on her lower lip with an apoligetic smile. "Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pull you along like that." She said as she rubbed the back of her neck, blushing lightly. She forgot that he didn't know her and may have felt awkward about what she had just did. "Anyway, we are nearly there now." She added on, grinning happily, returning to her natural self. She skipped alongside T.J as the subway sign came up into veiw. Jessy clapped happily, as she ran into the shop and looked up at the menu as she waited for T.J. She wasn't sure if he would want to order anything but she'd wait anyway, just to be sure.
She already knew she'd have the tuna and sweetcorn sandwhich. And a cookie of course. A chocolate chip one. Just because chocolate chip cookies were the BEST type of cookies that ever excited. "Do ya wanna order anything T.J?" She asked him with a smile as she turned to face him.

"Not particularly. No." He answered after a moment. He really didn't need to be that happy, it was weird being happy to him. He hasn't been 'happy' since he was small. He didn't see the reason to be. "I'm fine thank you." He said. He looked around were he was going, trying to know were the hell he was. not much help when he was being dragged, and have no idea were he was suppose to be going. Following behind her, he just walked.
"Um.. It's okay." He said. He put his hands in his pockets and nodded. "Well, that's good. Though, I don't think I will be able to get back to my car any time soon." He said. Faking a smile, he said; "See. I do smile." making his face go back to normal as he paused, "But I rather not smile." He said.
Playing with the pocket knife in his pocket, he walked over to her and looked at the menu. "I might. Not sure though." He said. Reading the menu, he would end up with grilled chicken on Italian bread with lettuces and cheese. That's what he liked, and he didn't care if she thought that it was gross or not. He took a mountain dew from the case and held in in his left hand. His right hand still in his pocket with his pocket knife.
He wouldn't use the knife, at least not now. Not on her.

WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Raising an eyebrow, Jessy shook her head. "You are really weird you know that? I've never met anyone that hasn't wanted to be happy before." She said with a slight laugh but really she was a little worried about the boy who was stood in front of her. She had to wonder if maybe he had a few issues at home or something although, once again, it was none of her buisness.
Jessy ran a hand through her hair and glanced at him, smiling slightly. "Your cute when you smile." She giggled quietly, knowing he would probably hate her for saying that but she thought it was true. Maybe if he smiled more he'd have make friends quicker to. Ah well. "Why don't you like smiling?" She asked him curiously, her pale green eyes widened innocently whilst she waited for his answer. She seemed to keep asking him questions at the moment and she was sure that he would be getting bored and ignore her but she didn't care. She could only hope for answers.
Jessy picked up a coke then stood in line, humming quietly to herself. She ordered her Tuna and Sweetcorn roll and a chocolate chip cookie. She turned to look at T.J for him to order. She'd decided she would pay for both of them because she wanted to give something back to T.J for beign so annoying and she decided paying for his food would be best seeing as it was her fault he was even here in the first place.

"Weird am I?" He asked. Weird was barely anything from him. She thought that he was weird now, she would have to him later on, trying to kill someone. On second though, no she probably wouldn't want to see that. It would be far more dangerous. "Well, there people out there that are not always happy." He said.
Raising one black eyebrow at her, he heard her say how he was cute. Cute? He didn't think that he was. He had seen better looking people than himself, and that was coming from a straight guy. "I have my reason. And you have yours for being happy." He said calmly. He didn't really need to be happy. He was neither happy nor sad. He barely showed his emotions most of the time. He kept them inside, and hidden from everyone.
He looked at her, then at his food. "A grilled chicken with lettuce and cheese on Italian please." Tyler said. The person behind the counter nodded and made up the food. Walking over to Jess, he stood next to her. He placed the Mountain dew bottle down on the counter. "Want me to pay?" He asked, taking out his wallet. He had a fair good amount of money from when he would get kicked out of his house. His mother would give him two hundred each time, and tell him to get lost. He usually only spent a little bit of it, and would just end up walking around all night. Looking back at her, he wondered what she was thinking.

WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Jessica just shrugged. "I suppose your right but still, i don't think it's natural to not be happy. Surely you were happy once in your life?" She said, her tone not only curious but slightly sad aswell. She was still not wanting to believe he wasn't happy, surely it was just a mask, he was pretending. He had to be. She was giving up though, if he wanted to be miserable then so be it. She wasn't going to try and make him happy and then possibly ruin his life. This was after all his own decision and she refused to be upset about it even though she found it hard. She was just too sensitive to other peoples feelings sometimes it was stupid. Really, really stupid.
Once again, Jessy just shrugged at his response. She was never all too sure how she could be so happy with such a crap history and family life but hey, she saw little point in being all upset and crying about it everyday. In fact, everyone thought she had a great life at home. Only her closest friends knew how wrong that was. It was mainly her little sisters fault. Well that and her father her walked out on her family when she was a baby. With a sigh she shook her head, clearing her mind of all those thoughts. She didn't need or want to think about them at the moment.
When she saw him taking his wallet out she shook her head and smiled. "Uh-uh. I'm paying. I've caused you all this trouble and i'm the reason you're here so it's the least I can do." She said with a smile as she pulled out her hello kitty purse and payed for their food and drinks. She didn't even give him time to refuse, instantly handing over the money when the guy came back and smiling sweetly at him. "Thank-you!" She grinned at the guy behind the counter before picking up her own food and drink and looking around for an empty table.

"Yeah. When my dad was somewhat around." He said, not really going into detail about that. He killed his father because he took the gun from him, and he pulled the trigger, killing him with a single shot to the heart. It wasn't like he meant to, but he did. Tj was trying to kill himself, but he ended up making his father die anyway. Not like he liked his father much anyway.
Blinking at her, he just put his wallet away. "Uh.. Okay." He said. He took his food and looked around. "There an empty table over there." he said, pointing to the empty table in the corner of the small fast food place. He looked at her before pulling her arm with his free hand over to the table. Sitting down in one of teh chairs, he looked at her, pointing to the other empty chair.
He couldn't remember the last time that he didn't eat out alone. It was probably 8th grade in Boston. And that was just a guess. It had been years since then. He looked at her, waiting for her to sit. "Um. Thanks for buying my food.. you didn't have too." He said, looking down at his food. She didn't have to buy his food for him, he would have bought it himself. He didn't mind. Opening his soda, he pressed the green bottle to his lips.

WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Jessy went silent. "Oh, sorry." She muttered, biting down on her bottom lip. She knew she should have just shut up, she was sure he didn't want to start telling her his personal life so she knew that now was the time to just shut up. Her father wasn't around any more ether but she had her ways of dealing with these things and he had his, obviously. She preffered to be happy, just because to her life was to short to be upset so she smiled and just got on with it. Keeping all her feelings bottled up.
Jessy smiled as he pulled her over to the empty table and then sat on the chair that he pointed to. "I just love subway. It always tastes so nice." She said happily as she bit into her sandwhich. It wasn't just that it tasted nice but it also smelt lovely inside and the food was fresh unlike mcdonalds were it was all preprapared and had been sat there for god knows how long. Although it always managed to taste nice so she wouldn't complain to much.
"Your welcome. And as I said, it was the least I could do." She told him with a grin. It wasn't often she got to buy things for someone and she liked the feeling she got from giving. She was one of the few people that was quite happy to waste their money on things for random strangers. Wait, scratch that. She was probably the only person who would waste their money on random strangers but hey, that was just the sorta girl Jessy was.

"Its okay. It wasn't his fault.. It was mine." He said. He knew that he probably shouldn't tell her anything, but hey she didn't seem like the kind to just run away after knowing something about someone. She dragged him here and all she knew what his name. "To put it simple. It was completely my fault that the trigger pulling" He said.
"Yeah. Its better then McDonalds. They just fry their food." He said. He took a bite out of his sub, and chewing. He put the food down and took another sip of his mountain dew. He looked at her, then at his food. "I could have bought it myself though. I mean, you did show me around the mall a bit. We new kids get lost a lot." He said rubbign the back of his neck after a moment.
He felt weird talking to her about that happened about his father. He shot him. It was Tyler's fault that he was dead, and he should feel guilty right? But he didn't. Weather or not it was just the voices that made him do it when he was trying to kill himself or not. He just didn't feel anythign about it. And that happened only 3 years before. Then only three months before he had killed a girl for being a bitch to him. He was sent to jail for a month, since he had 'issues'. Of course Jail wasn't what they called jail on tv. It was different and still boring. He would try his best to stay here without being insane that much and killing someone.

WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Jessica stared at T.J for a moment, her eyes widened. "Y-You killed your father?" She stuttered quietly. She wasn't scared although she knew she should be. She should just get up and run but she wouldn't. He had told her this and it would be wrong to leave. Now she suddenly could understand why he didn't want to be happy, why he rarely smiled. "Is that why your never happy? Is that why you didn't talk much. You were scared for someone to know? In case they got scared and ran?" She asked him, tilting her head to the side, her facial expression softening slightly as she watched him.
Jessica nodded in agreement. Mcdonalds, now she thought about it, was rather disgusting. She wouldn't be eating there for a while. She then laughed and rolled her eyes. "Ah well, I like helping people." She said with a grin. "And spending money on strangers is fun. It confuses people." She added on, giggling quietly. How many of her friends were going to yell at her for once again spending money on someone she didn't know? Probably all of them. Or all of the ones she told anyway. They had repeatedly told her not to hang out and talk to strangers incase they were total nutters but Jessy never cared. She hated judging people before she really got to know them and would normally give everyone a chance.

"Well... Kinda.." He said. "Its a long story." He said. Sure it wouldn't take him that long to explain, but would be just because he didn't like to give a whole ton of detail about himself. Telling the complete story would state that he was insane, but then so would the short version. Either way, he would end up scaring the shit out of her if he wasn't careful about his words. He waited for her to say something. He was insane, and he just waited for her to say something, or scream and run. He was really expecting her to bolt out of the quick food place, but she didn't seem to move. It was weird that she didn't move yet. "Yeah. That's part of the reason why." He said, not really telling the whole truth about why he was never happy.
"That's good that you like to help others." he said quickly, trying to get the attention off of himself and onto her. "You like to spend money on other people that you have no idea who they are? That's not weird at all." He added on after a moment. It was strange that she would just waste money on other people. Jessy was probably the only person that he ever met that would like to spend money on others for fun. He never really spent his money on things and others. He really only used it for food, cloths and that was about it. His mother never bought him anything, so he had to buy everything himself. Mostly all black cloths though.
He tugged up on his sweatshirt sleeve, revealing tattoos of roses and other things on his arms. He didn't care if she looked at him like he was nuts for getting tattoos, he liked them. He even had a thirteen inch batman on one arm. He liked batman a lot. And he as a 16 year old guy that probably should have gotten over that kind of things a while ago.

WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Jessica was silent for a while, obviously thinking. "If you ever need to tell someone about it, i'll listen." She said simply with a smile and a shrug of her shoulders. Okay so, now she had just proven it. She was completly and utterly insane. Hanging out with someone that had killed his own dad? Yeah, how stupid could she get? Ah well, surely if he was going to hurt her, he would have done it ages ago. She didn't believe he would hurt her anyway, or she was hoping he wouldn't hurt her. Ah well, if he was planning to hurt her then she was screwed because she wasn't going to just leave him. She didn't care aboutthe dangers, she couldn't hurt someones feelings like that. No matter how weird or insane they were.
Jess raised an eyebrow at him, laughing as she took a sip of her coke. "Not weird at all? Are you being sarcastic or do you mean that?" She asked him with a smile. She was sure he was just joking because any normal person would think she was completly nuts. Then again, maybe this guy wasn't as sane as she thought ether? In which case she would understand why he didn't see how that was odd. As far as she could tell though, people only thought it was odd because they would only spend their money on themselves. Although Jessy was never too sure how being selfish was a good thing she had a tendancy not to argue with her friends. Mainly because they'd just sigh and go 'you wouldn't understand Jess'.
"Oh wow your tattoos are so cool!" She burst out, staring at his arms and grinning madly. "You even have batman. I want a batman but i would like, faint. I always wanted bat wings tattooed on my back but I'm way to scared to get it done. Plus my mum would hate me forever. Did it hurt a lot?" She said this all rather quickly before stopping, noticing she was once again, talking a little too much. Sometimes she just did that.

Tj just looked at her . "I'll remember that." He said after a moment. Did he even want to tell her anything about him? He never found it a good idea to tell anyone anything anymore. He would just leave and hide around for a while, were no one would find up and beat his head into a wall or tree. Anywhere where he was able to slam his head into anything really. He didn't see why people vented to others, it wasn't really the other person's business what went wrong in others lives, unless they were like close best friends, but TJ never had friends; and he liked that that way.
"Well, did it sound sarcastic?" He asked. 'Maybe I was being sarcastic, or I'm that insane and think that it is normal for others to do that." He added. "but of course, I wouldn't tell you if i was insane or not, I would let you figure that out on your own." He smiled at her, before taking another bite out of his food.
Tj just chuckled after swallowing his food. "I love batman. I'm just weird like that." He said. "Um. It hurt, but then I got use to it. Bat wings? That would be cool on a girl. It would just be creepy on me though." He laughed a bit. "But yeah, it hurts a lot if your not use to it. And it takes a forever amount of time to get all the details on your arm." He added.

WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP i dream and see you floating high above meAND I AWAKE AT DAWN before the rays of morning paint the front lawn - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - * - - Jessica grinned in response, happy. Okay so, she still wasn't sure why she had said that and if he would really trust her or even remember what she had said. He probably wouldn't, they didn't even know each other after all. He'd forget about her soon and wonder who she was when she went runnin gup to him and saying hi, claiming to his friends that he didn't know her. Just like a few other people she knew. Maybe they were annoyed but her hyperactiveity or maybe they just didn't like her. Ah well, she wouldn't dwell on it too much. She didn't really care. Not much anyway.
"It didn't sound sarcastic." Jessica said slowly, thinking it through and realizing that maybe he had meant it. Jessica laughed slightly, a little unsure about what he was saying. She didn't quite understand but she wasn't about to tell him that. It would be rude of her. "I've already decided that your not insane. I like you." She said with a nod and a smile.
"Batman is amazing. It's not weird to like him at all." Jessica said possibly a little to loudly. As T.J started describing a tattoo Jessy winced slightly. "I think i'll pass then. I'm not good with pain. I'd faint before i even got inside." She said with a laugh. It was true as well. She thought it would be cool to have a tattoo but not so much if there was a lot of pain involved.

Looking at her he blinked. He took another bite of his food, and swallowed. "Maybe I was being sarcastic, and maybe I wasn't" He said. He looked at her, then at his drink. Unscrewing the cap off the bottle he took a long sip, the cool caffeinated drink doing down his throat. [color-c3d7c2]You have yet to actually know me well. Why do you think I say by myself most of the time? Because I'm that weird that no [/one wants to be around the boy that can't be trusted well." He explained. He didn't care that he was that weird, he didn't at all. So if anyone didn't like him, that was their problem, not his.
"I suppose so. But I love batman. And If your that squeemish that I wouldn't if i were you, He said. She was that scared of needles? Sure a lot of people were, but they didn't hurt nearly as much as he thought that it would. But then, he has lost feeling in his arm after that.
